HOUSE HEAVILY DAMAGED BY FIRE IN FAYETTE COUNTY

  

A house in Fayette County was heavily damaged by a fire Tuesday afternoon.

When firemen arrived shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday at the house at 1898 Dubina – Weimar Road near the Colorado County line, the structure was fully engulfed in flames.  The Weimar and Schulenburg Fire Departments extinguished the fire, and no injuries were reported.  It is believed the cause of the fire could possibly be weather related, but it remains under investigation.
