BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO CALLS THURSDAY
The Brenham Fire Department responded to a couple of minor calls Thursday.
At 12:57 p.m. Thursday, firemen were dispatched for a report of smoke in the area of 2201 East Stone Street in Brenham. Upon arrival they located the smoke was coming from a controlled burn at 807 Shepard Lane, and no action was required.
At 10:41 Thursday morning the Brenham Fire Department was called to a warehouse at 1101 Rink Street for an alarm sounding. By the time they arrived, the alarm had been reset by an employee and firemen were advised that there was no fire or smoke.
