BRENHAM EDF ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS

  

The Brenham Economic Development Foundation has announced that its members have elected five directors to serve a three-year term on the board starting in December.

Three current directors were re-elected to serve another term including Tee Dippel of Brenham National Bank, Mike Hopkins, Jr. of Mike Hopkins Distributing Company, and Barney Loesch of Thrivent Financial. Two newcomers to the board are Jimmy Lawhorn of Blue Bell Creameries and Melissa McCune of Brenham Clinic.

The remainder of the board includes 16 members with three sets of five directors serving staggered terms and the immediate past chairman: Billy Holle-Chairman of the Board of Seidel Schroeder; Matt Bentke-Vice Chairman of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative; William Krueger-Immediate Past Chairman from Jones|Carter, retired; Blake Brannon of Brannon Industrial Group; Chris Cangelosi of Washington County Abstract Company; Cory Flencher of Citizens State Bank; Chad Gerke of The Gerke Law Firm; Catherine Kenjura of Lacina & Kenjura; Arlen Thielemann of Thielemann Construction Company; Jarvis Van Dyke of Van Dyke Rankin & Co.; and Gary Weiss of Germania Insurance, retired.

Stephen Miller of Brenham Wholesale Grocery Company will be ending 9 years of service on the board of directors. Chairman of the Board Billy Holle stated:  “We are grateful to Stephen Miller for his time on the board and dedication to economic development in Brenham.”
