EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR CITY COUNCIL THURSDAY

  

Brenham City Council is scheduled to meet next Thursday, March 8th for their regular meeting, but they will be meeting this Thursday in a special executive session.  The single agenda item says that councilmembers will consult with the City Attorney for the Purpose of Seeking Legal Counsel Regarding Brenham Police Department Matters, Personnel, and Associated Issues.  It is likely that this is concerning the hiring of a new Police Chief for Brenham, but City Manager James Fisher was not available to explain, and not one in his office could answer the question.  No action is expected to be taken after the meeting.  The closed executive session is scheduled for Thursday at 11:30 AM at City Hall.
