BRENHAM POLICE MAKE FOUR ARRESTS TUESDAY

  

Brenham Police made four arrests Tuesday. Tuesday morning at 8:15 Corporal David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 2500 block of US Hwy 290 West. During the course of the traffic stop, methamphetamines were located in the vehicle. The front seat passenger was identified as Flora Lara, 26 of Brenham, and was found to be in possession of methamphetamines and marijuana. The driver identified as Jeremy Clayton, 32 of Brenham was also placed in custody along with Lara.  Lara and Clayton were both charged with Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.  Lara was also charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Both subjects were transported to the Washington County Jail.

At 10:45 Tuesday morning, Corporal David Dudenhoeffer observed a wanted subject Brandon Richard, 39 of Brenham in the area of the 2800 block of US Hwy 290 West. After confirming the warrants, Richard was placed in custody. During the search, Richard was found to be in possession of methamphetamines.  Richard was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance along with the warrant and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

 

Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, Cpl. Tommy Kurie conducted a vehicle stop in the 2200 block of U.S. Highway 290 East. Upon contact with driver, a strong odor of marijuana was detected and probable cause search was conducted. The driver, Jamarius Lilly, 22 of Killeen, was arrested for possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces and was transported to the Washington Co. Jail.

  1. The increase of drug activity in Brenham has either been overwhelming; or, more of the bad guys are finally being caught;or, both. Nevertheless, thank you Brenham PD. Please always be safe. The law abiding families appreciate all that you do.
