BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS

A Brenham man faces charges after a traffic stop, Thursday night.
Just after 11:00 p.m., Officer Sierra Newell conducted a traffic stop at the 200 block of W. Alamo Street.
Investigation revealed that the driver, Jeremy Jerone Johnson of Brenham was in possession of an ecstasy pill and was taken into custody.
Johnson was booked in to the Washington County Jail for Possession Controlled Substance and was issued two citations for Expired Registration and Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

Two people face charges after their arrests Thursday morning.
Just before 9:30 a.m., Officer Marley Mayo and Corporal David Dudenhoeffer conducted a welfare check in the 800 block of Crockett Street.
During the course of the investigation, officers say synthetic cannabinoids was in plain view.
29-year old Kyle Asher and 56-year old Deborah Asher, both of Brenham, were placed in custody for Possession of Controlled Substance and taken to the Washington County Jail staff.
