MAN ARRESTED FOR LICENSE VIOLATION

A Garland man is behind bars in Brenham after his arrest for driving with an invalid driver’s license.
Saturday morning, around 7:30, Officer Sierra Newell conducted a traffic stop at the 200 block of Highway 290 West for an equipment violation.
Investigation revealed, the driver, 51-year old Jorge Luis Garcia of Garland had an invalid driver's license along with several previous convictions for the same offense.
Garcia was taken into custody and transported to jail.
