TWO ARRESTED ON DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES

Two people face charges after their arrests of drug charges in separate traffic stops.
Wednesday afternoon, just after 3:30, 43-year old Chrystal Ward of Oklahoma, was stopped by Corporal David Dudenhoeffer in the 2400 block of Stringer Street.
During the course of the traffic stop, Ward was found to be in possession of methamphetamines.

Ward was transported to the Washington County Jail where she was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance.
Then, just before 11:00 p.m., Officer Andy Adams conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Mulberry St.
The driver, 22-year old Jaylon Whitley of Brenham, was found in possession of a Controlled Substance and in Possession of Marijuana.
Whitley was placed in custody and transported to jail.
