ST. PETER’S HOSTING FREE OPERA PROGRAM NEXT WEEK

  

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham is presenting a free program of the Resonance Young Artist Opera next week.

The performance, free and open to the public, will take place at the church Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.  A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

The program will showcase opera scenes and arias, performed by students from the Brenham and Houston area.  St. Peter’s underwrote this year’s expenses, so students were not charged tuition for the program.  The students have received individual and group coaching, as well as professional choreography training.

There will be an open Dress Rehearsal on Monday, starting at 7:30 p.m., with the main performance on Tuesday.  St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is located at 2310 Airline Drive in Brenham.  For more information, call Dr. Linda Patterson at 979-836-7248, Ext. 13.
