BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. CALLED OUT TWICE TUESDAY

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of calls, Tuesday.

Just after 11:00 a.m., Brenham fire fighters along with the Salem Fire Department was called to a grass fire in the 3600 block of FM 109.

The department arrived and used tank water to extinguish the fire.

There was no damage to any other property.

Then, just after 2:00 p.m., the Brenham Department responded to the intersection of Chappell Hill St and the feeder road of U.S. Highway 290 for a crash with entrapment.

On arrival they found that everyone was out of the vehicles safely.

The department cleaned fluids off the road way.
