BENEFIT TRAIL RIDE THIS WEEKEND IN CAT SPRING

The 26th Annual Saddle Up for SIRE Benefit Trail Ride gets going this weekend in Cat Spring.

The event cranks up Saturday morning at 7 a.m., where people are invited to come ride the trails at the 7IL Ranch, and take part in many other activities.

SIRE Executive Director Joe Wappelhorst says there will be quite a bit going on Saturday morning at the ranch.

Wappelhorst says the fundraising event allows SIRE to continue providing therapeutic horsemanship programs to children and adults, who are dealing with special needs.

If you want to bring your horse to the trail, tickets start at $80, which include access to all activities.  Lunch tickets can be purchased for $10.

7IL Ranch is located at 5389 Mill Creek Road in Cat Spring.  To learn more, or to register, visit https://sire-htec.org.  KTEX-106 is a proud sponsor of the Saddle Up for SIRE Benefit Trail Ride.
