LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT FINDS SMOKE INSIDE HOME

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out to a local home to a report of smoke in the home, Monday night.

Just after 10:00 p.m., firefighters were called to the 700 block of South Chappell Hill St. to a report of smoke inside the house.

The Department found a pile of clothes was burning.  They used a water can to extinguish the fire, then used a fan to remove the smoke from the house.

There was light smoke damage to the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
