FLATONIA HOSTING ‘CZHILISPIEL’ THIS WEEKEND

  

Flatonia will be home to a Czech and German festival throughout this weekend.

From today (Friday) through Sunday, Czhilispiel will take over downtown Flatonia with a packed weekend of food, entertainment, and Czech and German culture.

With cook-offs, tournaments and contests, and entertainment all weekend, guests will have no shortage of activities.

Czhilispiel director Richard Schacherl says the event was originally based in education.

 

Schacherl says all of the money raised at the Czhilispiel will go to scholarships to support students.
