BLANCA NAMED PET OF THE WEEK
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Blanca” as its Pet of the Week.
Blanca is a pit bull mix, a little less than two years old. She was given to the shelter back in August, along with 20 other dogs. At the time, Blanca had just had puppies, barely over a week old. Her puppies grew healthy, and have been weened; they’ve since gone to a rescue for adoption.
Blanca also only has one eye. Volunteers aren’t sure if she was born that way, or if she was injured at some point. Blanca was scared when she arrived at the shelter, but she’s grown into a sweet girl that deserves love and attention.

The Adoption Center is running a Halloween “Spooktacular Special”. Until October 31st, all adoption fees are discounted $31, off of the regular fee of $50.
