AUSTIN COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY TO HOST SOUTH AFRICAN PASTOR
A pastor from Bellville, South Africa will be the guest speaker at the Austin County Republican Party’s monthly meeting tomorrow (Thursday).
Benjamin Ardé, the founding pastor of Arc South Africa, will be speaking at the meeting. Ardé recently founded a movement called #Pray4SA. He will speak about the state of the union in South Africa, and share the effects of #Pray4SA.
Ardé has visited Austin County in the past, speaking on the square in Bellville in 2008. Past Mayor Monte Richardson gave him keys to the city, and issued a proclamation declaring Bellville, Texas a sister city to Bellville, South Africa.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Tony’s Family Restaurant in Sealy, on 1629 Meyer Street. Guests are invited to come early for a Dutch treat meal from the menu. The meeting will also cover the upcoming General Election on November 6th.
