WASHINGTON CO. PECAN SHOW RESULTS

  

The Washington County Horticulture Committee hosted the 2018 Washington County Pecan Show on November 29, 2018. As part of this cornerstone event, pecans from across Washington County and several neighboring counties are evaluated for quality and variety characteristics to determine the best pecan in each category, division, and overall.  Washington County producers submitted 56 entries this year. All Washington County exhibitors placed with one or more of their entries.

Entries advancing to the East Region Pecan Show on December 12, 2018 will be judged by a panel of pecan experts at the Washington County Fairgrounds Event Center.  The public is welcome to stop by and take a look beginning at 9:30am.  We would like to thank everyone for their entries, and wish all those advancing to the regional show the best of luck!
