LARGE HOUSE FIRE PUT OUT FRIDAY NEAR SCHULENBURG
A large house fire required the aid of several Fayette County emergency crews northeast of Schulenburg Friday morning.
Around 11:45 a.m., dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on Helmcamp Road, in the Dubina area.
The Schulenburg and Weimar Fire Departments responded, along with a Fayette County EMS unit and Sheriff’s deputy.
When they arrived, the structure was reported to be fully engulfed. Units contained and extinguished the fire.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
