“INDY” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

Brenham Animal Services has named “Indy” as their Pet of the Week.

Indy is about one year old, and staff believe she is a mix of Lab or Hound and a terrier.  She is currently a part of the PAWS program at the Texas Juvenile Justice Department in Giddings.

Indy recently passed her Canine Good Citizen test, meaning she’s learned how to sit, stay, come, and more.  She enjoys treats, toys, and attention, and would be a fun girl for a family.  She still has a few puppy tendencies, but she is crate trained and housetrained.  She would be great as an indoor dog, as long as she gets regular exercise.

If you would like to meet Indy, contact Ramiro Hernandez with the PAWS program at 979-212-1264, or email Ramiro.Hernandez@TJJD.Texas.gov.
