HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP THURSDAY

A Houston man was arrested by Brenham Police Thursday morning.
Brenham Police report that at 8:20 AM, Sergeant Jonathan Phipps, initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. Through investigation, it was discovered that the driver was in possession of THC oil and marijuana. The driver, Luis Eduardo Lopez (25 of Houston), was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Washington County Jail.
