BISD TO MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION MONDAY
A Special Meeting of the Brenham ISD Board of Trustees will address renovations at the High School, when they meet Monday afternoon.
The board will meet Monday at 12:00 at the Administration Building, at 711 E Mansfield St.
The board will get a design update for the High School renovation by LTY Engineers and Plan North Architectural Company.
They are also expected to get a recommendation and possibly approve the Construction Manager at Risk proposal for the renovations.
The board will also hear and update on the safety vestibule at the Early Childhood Learning Center; Cameras at Brenham Elementary; and the LED project and work that has started at the High School.

Any renovations planned for the Junior High campus soon? Not that I’m looking for extra increases in taxes, but the Junior High is much older than the High School.
The renovations that will be done at the high school will be paid for with from the district’s financial reserves I.e. fund balance. There will be NO TAX INCREASE for this PROJECT.
Also there was NO TAX INCREASE as a result of the renovations completed at Krause Elementary over the course of the last 2 summers.
