BRENHAM POLICE MAKE THREE WEEKEND DWI ARRESTS

Brenham police made a trio of DWI arrests over the weekend.

Friday night, around 8 p.m., officers made a traffic stop at South Jackson and West Val Verde Street.

31-year-old Ryan Clark Dresch of Brenham was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense; False Drug Test or Falsification Device; Wrong, Fictitious, Altered or Obscured Insignia; and Driving While License Invalid – Enhanced.  He was taken to the Washington County Jail.

Saturday night, just before 8:30 p.m., Officer Andrea Norton stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street.

The driver, 28-year-old Matthew Hale of Burton, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, and Driving While License Invalid.  He was booked into the Washington County Jail without incident.

Sunday night, at approximately 8 p.m., Sergeant Joseph Merkley conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Fifth and Prairie Lea Streets.

The driver, 52-year-old Francisco Ortiz-Villa of Brenham, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.
