AUSTIN CO. FAIR ASSOCIATION TAKING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS THROUGH MONDAY

  

Time is running out to submit scholarship applications through the Austin County Fair Association.

Monday is the last day to turn in applications to the Austin County Fair Office, on Highway 159 East in Bellville.  Applications need to be turned in by 5 p.m. Monday evening, or to the student’s high school counselor by the end of the school day.

Eligible applicants for all scholarships need to be a graduating high school senior and rank in the top 50 percent of their graduating class.  They must also be an active member in good standing of Texas FFA, 4-H, or the FCCLA.

Applications must include an official high school transcript, photograph and a letter of recommendation.  The Austin County Fair Scholarship Committee will look at all applications and select recipients.
