HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED IN FAYETTE CO. FOR SPEEDING, MARIJUANA

Kamron Devon Foster
(Fayette Co. Jail)

Fayette County authorities arrested a Houston man Thursday morning after he was caught speeding 40 miles an hour over the posted speed limit.

Just before 8 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on I-10 at the 669 mile marker eastbound, for travelling 117 mph in a posted 75 mph zone.

The driver, identified as 20-year-old Kamron Foster of Houston, had an active warrant out of Gonzales County for a probation violation on a marijuana charge.

A search of the vehicle led to marijuana being found in plain view, in a backpack on the passenger seat floor board area.  A BB gun, which appeared to be a realistic gun, was found next to the marijuana.
