LOCAL AUTHORITIES ARREST TWO ON DRUG CHARGES

  

Brenham Police made a pair of drug-related arrests, Saturday.

Just before 2:00 a.m., police were called to a disturbance at the Jack-in-the-Box on Highway 290 West.

Investigation revealed that one of the people involved, 37-year old Joyce Fentress of Brenham, was in possession of Methamphetamine.

Fentress was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance.

Then, just after 11:00 p.m., police made a traffic stop near the 1700 block of North Park Street.

A passenger, 36-year old Jose Lopez of Houston, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamines and an active warrant out Harris County for Possession of Controlled Substance.

Lopez was also taken to the Washington County Jail.
