TWO ARRESTED LOCALLY ON WARRANTS

Brenham Police made a pair of warrant arrests over the weekend.
Saturday afternoon, police spotted 37-year old Wendy Meyer of Brenham in the 300 block of North Austin Parkway.
Meyer was taken into custody for two warrants for Possession of a controlled substance and Issuance of a bad check.
Meyer was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Late Sunday night, Brenham Police responded to the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill St. in reference to a 911 hang up.
At the scene, police found 25-year old Divante Hillsman of Bellville, who show to be wanted out of Washington and Wharton counties.
Hillsman was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
