BURTON FFA TEAMS EXCEL AT STATE EVENTS

  

The Burton FFA teams competed in the State Career Development Event contests on April 23^rd, May 3^rd, and May 4^th.

The Wildlife team competed April 23^rd at the Welder Wildlife Refuge in Sinton, Texas.

The team placed 28^th at the State Contest out of 818 teams from across the state.  The team consisted of Cade Weiss, Haydon Boecker, Benjamin Zapalac, and Cooper Lucherk.

The Forage team competed at the State contest May 3^rd at Sam Houston State University.

The team placed 35^th in the state.  The team consisted of Benjamin Zapalac, Brayten Rolling, and Lane Baker.

The Livestock team competed at the State contest May 4^th at Texas A&M.

The team placed 30^th out of 2,378 teams from across the state.

The team consisted of Caleb Fuchs, Tanna Thiel, Weston Hinze, and Waylon Hinze.
