BRENHAM P.D. ARRESTS THREE ON WARRANTS
Three people have been arrested by Brenham Police on outstanding warrants.
Saturday afternoon, just before 2:00, police made a traffic stop in the 2200 Block of South Market.
Investigation revealed the driver, 18-year old Jamaar Darden of Brenham, had five active warrants out of Brazos County for Attempted Burglary of a vehicle.
A passenger in the vehicle, 21-year old Tia Wagner of Katy, also had a theft warrant out of Austin County.
Both Wagner and Darden were placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Sunday just before 10:00 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of S Chappell Hill St.
Investigation revealed that the driver, 23-year old Moctezuma Ovando of Brenham, had an active warrant for Terroristic Threat Family Violence.
Ovando was also transported to the Washington County Jail.
