A former employee of the Texas A&M transportation department has been arrested for allegedly hiding a video camera inside a women's restroom.
According to KBTX-TV, 54-year old Peter David Baty of College Station was charged with Improper Photography or Video Recording in a Bathroom.
Baty was an employee of the Texas A&M Transportation Services.
According to school officials, Baty allegedly hid a camera inside a restroom at the Transit Building on Agronomy Road. The restroom, which the public does not have access to, is used by employees working in the building.
It is not yet clear how long the camera was there.
Baty had not been at work since the incident was discovered. He was scheduled to return to work Thursday, but resigned Wednesday.
