BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE OVERNIGHT THURSDAY
Brenham Police arrested 3 people on various charges overnight Thursday.

Thursday evening at 7:30 PM, Officers responded to 700 block of Pleasant View Avenue, in regards to a report of an intoxicated person. Upon arrival, a female subject, Ronda Brooks, 56 of Brenham, was arrested for Public Intoxication Enhanced. She was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in without incident.

On Friday at 12:50 AM, Cpl. Lance Weiss initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, near the intersection of West Blue Bell Road and Burleson Street. Investigation revealed that driver Shekyra Punchard, 28 of Bellville, had 3 active warrants for her arrest. Punchard was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On Friday, at 3:00 AM, Corporal Edward Ortega observed a vehicle drive the wrong way in the wrong lane near the intersection of Austin and Main St. After a brief investigation it was determined that the driver, Jaymi Foster, 29 of Louisiana, was in possession of marijuana, less than 2oz. Foster was arrested and transported to jail.
