OVERFLOW OF KITTENS AT BRENHAM PET ADOPTION CENTER
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is packed to the brim with kittens.
Adoption center staff say, right now, they are currently housing nearly 100 cats, most of them kittens, with not enough kennels to place them in.
Until the population is brought down, the adoption fee for cats will be reduced from $95 to $25. Adoption fees include sterilization, vaccines, and a microchip.
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is located at 1804 Longwood drive, right next to the police department. The center is open Monday by appointment, Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
