BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham man faces charges after a traffic stop, Wednesday night.
Police pulled over 33-year old Bennie Byrd of Brenham in the 300 block of North Chappell Hill St. just after 11:00 p.m.
During the stop, police say Byrd attempted to throw marijuana out of his window.
Byrd was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Tampering/Fabricating of Physical Evidence.
Byrd was taken into custody without incident.
