SEMINAR ON HOW TO DEAL WITH VENOMOUS SNAKES JULY 17TH
Baylor Scott and White in Brenham is preparing to host a free seminar on how to deal with venomous snakes.
Patti Parks, an emergency medicine nurse at Baylor Scott and White in Brenham, will teach important tips and tricks to identify venomous species. She will also discuss how to avoid dangerous encounters with snakes, and what to do if someone gets bitten by one.
The seminar will be held Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Baylor Scott and White Wellness and Diabetes Center, at 2117 South Day Street in Brenham.
