FORMER HEARNE CITY COUNCILMAN ARRESTED

A former member of the Hearne City Council has been arrested.
Former Hearne City Councilman Rodrick Jackson was charged with forgery last weekend.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Jackson reportedly attempted to pass a counterfeit check for over $2800 at a grocery store in June.
The report says an employee of the store notified police, who confirmed with a bank it was a bad check.
Jackson was booked into the Robertson County jail Saturday morning, then released.
