TWO ARRESTED ON D.W.I. CHARGES OVER THE WEEKEND

Two people face charges after their arrests on Driving While Intoxicated charges over the weekend in Brenham.
Saturday, just before 9:00 pm, Brenham Police pulled over a reported reckless driver near the intersection of US Highway 290 and FM 389.
65-year old Karl Dean Gregson of Cypress was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

Two hours later, authorities pulled over a vehicle in the area of Blue Bell and Stone for a moving violation.
After investigation, 48-year old Christopher Lafollette of College Station was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.
A handgun was located inside the vehicle and Lafollette was subsequently charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
