TEXAS GAS PRICES STILL DROPPING
Gas prices locally and across Texas continue to fall.
According to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch, the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded in Texas is $2.37.
That is two cents less than last week and 25 cents less per gallon on this day last year.
In Brenham, the average is $2.35 per gallon, with a low of $2.18 and a high of $2.55.
The highest price in Texas is in El Paso at $2.74 while drivers in Tyler were paying the least at $2.28 per gallon.
The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.65, which is two cents less compared to this day last week and 22 cents less than the price per gallon at this same time last year.
