BRENHAM MAN FACES MISDEMEANOR CHARGES AFTER ASSAULT

A Brenham man has been charged with a pair of misdemeanors after a reported assault Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 12:30 p.m., police responded to the 800 block of Glenn Drive in reference to a disturbance.
Investigation found that 42-year-old Leonard Ray Morgan assaulted a victim and interfered with an emergency request for assistance.
Morgan was arrested and charged with Assault – Family Violence, a Class C misdemeanor, and Interference with Emergency Request for Assistance, a Class A misdemeanor. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
