LOCAL MAN ARRESTED ON DWI/WEAPON CHARGES

A Brenham man faces charges after his arrest Saturday night on DWI and weapons charges.
61-year old Karl Figgs of Brenham was pulled over just after 10:00 p.m. on State Highway 36 North. Officers had received a complaint a short time earlier of a reckless driver on Highway 290 East at William B. Travis Lane.
According to police, Figgs was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated-2nd Offense and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon.
He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
