FIVE FACE VARIOUS MARIJUANA CHARGES
Brenham Police have made five arrests in a trio of cases involving marijuana possession.
Friday, just before 9:00 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Highway 290 West.
A probable cause search revealed that one of the passengers, 19-year old Javion Lewis of Brenham was in possession of Marijuana.
Further investigation revealed that another passenger, 23-year old Julio Martinez of Brenham had two active warrants out of Washington County. Both were taken into custody.
Saturday morning, around 10:30, near the 2500 block of South Day Street, police pulled over 18-year old Parker McDonald of Brenham.
According to police, McDonald had no valid driver license, no insurance, a fictitious license plate and was in possession of marijuana.
McDonald was arrested and transported to the jail .
And, Monday just before 6:00 p.m., local police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Green St. in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Officers later located marijuana in the vehicle and on one of the occupants.
19-year old Victor Charles of Katy and 20-year old Marco Domio of Humble were taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
