BRENHAM F.D. CALLED TO CLEAN UP AFTER ACCIDENT

The Brenham Fire Department was called on to clean the road after a minor accident, Thursday afternoon.

Just before 3:00 p.m., authorities were called to the 2600 block of Highway 36 South, near the intersection with the Highway 290 east-bound feeder road.

The fire department blocked traffic and used dry absorbent to clean fluids spilled on the roadway.

No injuries were reported.

About an hour later, the department was called to clean up about two gallons of gas that was spilled at the Circle K at State Highway 105 and Bluebell Road.

The spill was quickly cleaned.
