SEALY ISD APPROVES NEW SUPERINTENDENT

  

 

The Sealy Independent School District has introduced Dr. Bryan Hallmark from Georgetown ISD as its lone finalist for the superintendent position.

The search process began in February, with over 80 initial applications evaluated by the board of trustees.

Hallmark was selected after evaluations and interviews which concluded, April 3rd.  Hallmark was chosen by a unanimous 7-0 vote.

He now begins the mandatory 21-day waiting period before a formal contract can be reached and approved.

Dr. Hallmark comes to Sealy ISD from Georgetown where he serves as Assistant Superintendent of Operations and School Leadership.

He spent the first seven years of his career as a social studies teacher and coach before moving into administration.

Dr. Hallmark’s educational background includes a Doctorate degree from Texas A&M, a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State, and a Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State.

Current SISD Superintendent Sheryl Moore will officially retire June 30th and aid in the transition of leadership during these uncertain times.
