BRENHAM F.D. EXTINGUISHES SMALL GRASS FIRE
The Brenham Fire Department extinguished a small grass fire, Sunday afternoon.
Just before 1:00 p.m., the Department responded to the 600 block of Hwy 290 West near Schulte Blvd. for a small fire.
Fire fighters arrived and found a small grass fire in a roadway ditch. After fire was extinguished it was found that a fuse from power line had arced and caused fire.
The department stood bye until City of Brenham Electric Department removed fuse.
