BRENHAM P.D. ARRESTS SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT
A Bellville woman has been arrested for an alleged theft from a local department store.
Brenham Police were called to the local WalMart on Highway 290 West, just before 4:00, Thursday afternoon.
65-year old Lita Sierra of Bellville allegedly tried to leave the store with unpaid merchandise.
Sierra was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
