TWO MORE FORMER BUCS JOIN BOMBERS FOR 2020
The Brazos Valley Bombers are adding more players with Blinn Buccaneer ties to its roster.
Henry Bird will be returning for a second season with the Bombers. Previously of Blinn Junior College, Bird transferred to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. In 2019, Bird was 3-0 in 13 appearances, with six starts.
Cody Collins, spent two seasons at Blinn before transferring to Houston Baptist. At Blinn, the right-handed pitcher finished both seasons with an ERA below 4.00. He left Blinn with 30 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched and a 3-1 record.
The Bombers open the 2020 season at Travis Field against the Round Rock Hairy Men on June 30 at 7:05 PM.
