NFL TO CONSIDER CUTTING PRE-SEASON GAMES
Sources are saying the NFL is seriously contemplating cancelling two of each team’s four pre-season games.
The league already canceled its Hall of Fame Game between the Cowboys and Steelers.
The sources are saying that the installation and teaching part of the preseason is going to take longer because meetings will likely have to take place in smaller groups. That means what usually takes one week might take two or three this year. Because of that, teams won't be ready to play even a preseason game after just a couple weeks.
There are also some who are projecting the start of the regular season could be pushed back a couple weeks, as well.
