MILAM COUNTY ADDED TO BURN BAN LIST
Milam County has become the latest in the Brazos Valley to enact a burn ban.
By a unanimous vote Thursday morning, Milam County commissioners imposed a burn ban effective immediately. The order prohibits outdoor burning until further notice.
Milam County joins Fayette, Robertson and Lee Counties, who enacted a burn ban earlier in the week.
At this point, 110 of the state’s 254 counties have enacted burn bans.
