ASTROS SUFFER FIRST LOSS TO SEATTLE, 7-6
The Mariners scored three times in the top of the eighth and held on for a 7-6 win over the Astros, Sunday afternoon.
Houston carried a 5-4 lead into the inning, before an rbi-single by Shed Long and a two-run single from Kyle Lewis off losing pitcher Chris Davenski (0-1).
Michael Brantley led the Astros’ offense, with two hits, a run scored and an rbi. Martin Moldanado drove in two runs with a single.
The Astros host Seattle in the series finale, tonight at 6:10 on KWHI AM-1280 and FM 101.7.
