ROCKETS COULD LOSE GUARD ERIC GORDON FOR TWO WEEKS
Guard Eric Gordon of the Houston Rockets could be lost for one to two weeks, due to a left ankle injury suffered in a scrimmage Tuesday.
According to ESPN, the Rockets are expected to have a better idea of Gordon's injury timeline once he's evaluated again Wednesday.
Houston Coach Mike D'Antoni says X-rays on the ankle were negative,
Gordon jumped to make a pass and landed awkwardly on his left foot, twisting his ankle, during Houston's 137-112 scrimmage victory over the Celtics.
Gordon, who signed a four-year, $76 million contract extension with the Rockets in September, missed six weeks earlier in the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Nov. 13.
