BURTON VOLLEYBALL KICKS OFF SEASON WITH TWO GAMES AT IOLA

The Burton Lady Panthers kick off the 2020 volleyball season this evening with a tri-match at Iola.

The Lady Panthers will face Iola and Bremond, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Coach Katie Kieke returns three starters from last year’s team which advanced to the State Semifinals.

The Lady Panthers will hit the road again, Friday, when they travel to Brazos.  The home opener is set for next Tuesday, when Burton hosts Hempstead at 5:00.

The state’s 5A and 6A high schools will not open the volleyball season until September.
