COUNTY MAN ARRESTED BY LOCAL POLICE

A Washington County has been arrested on a drug charge.
Just after 9:30, Tuesday morning, police were called to the 900 block of North Park Street, near Firemen’s Park.
28-year old Timothy Godfrey of Chappell Hill was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
Godfrey was transported to the Washington County Jail.
