ASTROS DOWN RANGERS AFTER HOT FIRST INNING
The Astros put four runs on the board in the first inning and rolled to an 8-4 win over the Rangers.
Aledmys Diaz’s three-run homer off Lance Lynn (4-2) keyed the hot start.
After Texas had cut the lead to 6-4 late in the game, Michael Brantley ripped a two-run double in the eighth to provide the 4-run win.
Zach Grienke (3-0) went six innings to pick up the win.
The Astros travel to Los Angeles to face the Angels, Friday at 8:10. The Rangers are at Seattle.
